I ordered two one for myself and one for my boyfriend. He's always had A battery issue with his going dimm, and his zoom has a difficult time spinning properly & sometimes comes off completely. Mine always bright and reliable and no matter how dorky or "Sketchy" it makes me look? I don't care I'd wear it everywhere! But I don't think mine was water proof. Cause it hasn't worked since I wor it one night to help a friend change her tire in the rain! I know that the cover was securely on it. It's not the batteries cause no matter what batteries I put in it, it just won't turn back on! Which sucks cause I F@€K¡NG Loved this headlamp more than i can accurately express in words! I miss being able to use it nightly. and no other headlamp even comes close to comparing. Everyone should own A Tri-Beam headlamp.

This thing is great! It's very bright, and it was very easy to set up - just take the battery lid off, install the batteries, charge it, and VOILA - you have some really bright lights to look at, and who ever is facing it, will not want to look at it long because the lights are VERY BRIGHT - just what I wanted, and just what the bad guys don't really care to look at. It is light, bright, and wonderful. As usual Lone Survival has done it again - another awesome product. You won't be disappointed, trust me.

This HeadLamp is made very well. My only problem is that it does seem kind of heavy on my head. Otherwise, really great product!

The best headlamp I ever came across. Bright, rechargeable and portable charger. Also has a bright light on the back making it easy to follow me in the dark. And different lighting modes. Lights the dark up like day light. I’m just waiting for Lone Survivalist to come out with a night vision device. To be honest I haven’t bought anything from Lone Survivalist that wasn’t top of the line. I haven’t gotten a chance to put it through inclement weather test yet. But I put my money on it. We really enjoy our tribeam. It is great for jogging. This is an especially great tool for crabbing and household chores like picking up dog poop in the dark! It is really an all around wonderful tool to have. has so many different uses. We even use it inside for extra light in dark areas. This company is prompt and replying to your emails also, which is very helpful when you're trying to organize a gift.

It was 2:00am on a Wednesday, last week and I got one of those messages to go outside. My water pipe was blowing out water everywhere. The cut off value was above the leak. So it was now 2:30am when they sent out this poor man, who was sleeping when they called him. I had on my nifty headlamp and this guy didn't even have a flashlight. So I gave him mine the new one that has a charger in the flash light. He was so excited! Now he doesn't have to blindly stick his hand in the meters. Everyone laughed at me because I was so excited about the latest Tri-Beam Head Lamp! Now they all want one!! I bought 20 of them as gifts. I will be buying more because it is by far the best gift ever. I give kudos to the designer! I tell everyone about your site. I buy a lot from your site and I thank God for giving us you and your company. Sometimes I have to order your stuff under my desk because my assistant tells me I'm spending to much. But she sure likes playing with the stuff (P90). We're like kids! I love it!!

This is my 5th head lamp order from LS. This is the best one on the market. So why did I need 5? Everytime I use one around family or friends they are like where did you get that it is awesome so I give them mine and buy another one. I actually bought 2 this time so I have a spare ;).

So far I’m impressed, I’m replacing a Tac1 light that I purchased 5 years ago. Now let’s see how well it does with the test of time.

Fits snug on the head with exceptional and easy to use controls

I attached a photo showing the old headlamp and new one. Old headlamp is on the left on the pics and the bottom pic I believe has all lights lit in a relatively dark room onto my bedroom wall. Brightness seems to be similar, I don’t have a device to measure the output, just looking with my eyes, but you can definitely see the difference of the two light output led arrays when focused. So if anything the newer headlamp should output more light due to the newer model of the led having more leds in the array on the chip. I liked the new model of rear red marker light, it’s bigger and can be seen a lot easier. I also prefer the new usb-c port for charging as it’s more common that the old headlamps mini round plug. Outputting is nice to in an emergency to power up your phone. The only thing I see missing in your many really good survival items, would be a nice rugged portable solar charging panel with usb-c output. I’m shopping for one now so that I can keep all my lone-survivor flashlights and other batteries charged in the field when necessary. So many things require battery power and a generator is noisy and requires fuel which will become scarce when it eventually all goes bad. Thanks for providing us with great quality and field tested products to survive a catastrophic event.

Needed a light to replace my shotgun barrel mounted light to hunt destructive beavers that refused to show themselves during daylight hours. This did the trick and much brighter than my previous light.

I've bought 6. My vision is not what it used to be, so I keep one in my RV, boat, garage and office. The other two were gifts. I definitely have seen the improvements you have made. They help me with close up jobs and at night around the campsite.

My old tri-beam headlamp was still function when I received the new and definitely improved version... funny thing is I had two of the new ones, and wife went nuts. This newer version is well worth the cost difference and what's more: it is a game changer. It's well worth every last nickel. Well done Sir!

I can’t explain just how useful this Tri-Beam headlamp is. As a matter of fact, it would be a stretch to say that there’s a flaw with this product. It’s versatile , powerful , adjustable & as bright as you want it to be. I’m not claiming this is the biggest , baddest , or brightest headlamp out there , but what I am saying is you will be hard pressed to find one as lightweight , as powerful , as versatile , as rechargeable w/ batteries that are replaceable & priced as good for what you’re getting anywhere else on the planet. I want to tell you that this will be the last headlamp that you will ever buy , but that would be a lie. I haven’t bought any other headlamps since , but I’ve since bought 6-7 additional Tri-Beam headlamps. You know …… one for each vehicle , side by side , Harley , boat & bugout bag :)!! Hi fellow Survivalist. Sooo, I've purchased this type of head illumination gear before, and it was F-----g Trash. Lasted a month maybe at best. Gave up and went back flashlights. That becomes problematic when you need two hands. So off again I went in search of a headlamp. I RAN across this light that Lou had and checked it and said " How bad could it be" He'll I've already gone thru 4. When I received it, it was nice. Not a piece of junk!! Fit well, super, super bright, great construction. Has a marker light that lights up so your Buddy can follow. I got 3 more at Christmas from friends & family cause that's what I wanted! Too be honest, I wanted a Black Knife too, but wasn't gonna push my luck.Lou has a better one coming out TRUE!! I'm buying them because I trust LONE SURVIVALIST GEAR! Till next mission. I have two Tri-Beam head lamps. Both my wife and I use them regularly. We like the bright lamps and the rechargeable battery.

You can't change a tire on your RV at night without it. Try holding a flashlight while taking off lug nuts with the other hand. The Tri-Beam was a life saver, I got the job done fast while trucks were zipping by at 80mph!!! Thank you Lou for a great product!

I do a lot of RVing and use this light extensively during set up or other activities after dark. It is extremely bright and lasts a long time before needing a recharge.

I have purchased various products from Lone Survivalist and recently went on an annual camping trip with family and friends. This year we decided to set up a basecamp for extended family (Wives, children, friends) while several of us brought along backpacking gear to venture into the wilderness for several days to introduce some of the children to the backpacking experience and eventually return to basecamp for several more days. I brought along several Lone Survivalist products to try them out for the first time. I will focus on the Trip-Beam Headlamp for the purpose of this review. I brought two of them with us; one for my son and one for myself. Usually I carry a smaller, slightly lighter and compact back packing headlamp but even though the Trip-Beam is a little heavier and slightly larger, it proved far superior. Our hike in started a little later than planned and by the time we reached our destination the sun was setting. We were focused on setting up camp and collecting firewood for the evening. My son and I got our tents up quicker than the others and began scouring the area for firewood. The Trip-Beam Headlamps lit up the area widely and much deeper than our standard backpacking headlamps would have and allowed us to see and gather much more firewood than we would have in a much shorter period of time. When we got back to camp one of the guys and his son was having difficulty setting up and a couple of the other guys were focusing their backpacking headlamps on his efforts in an attempt to help him. My son and I have much more experience backpacking so we stepped in to teach and assist him. All of the guys commented on how much brighter and lit up the area was as soon as we approached and entered camp. They also commented on how much wood we had gathered in such a short time. Our Trip-beams worked so well that the other guys either shut their headlamps off or went and used theirs for other smaller setup tasks. We camped for several days and both my son's and my Trip-Beam headlamps charges lasted the whole time. I was very pleased and surprised. All the guys commented on how well the Trip-Beam Headlamps functioned and that the slight weight difference and bulk seemed to be worth the trade off of the smaller, less efficient standard backpacking headlamps. I had used the Trip-Beam Headlamp at home for building projects and prefer it over other headlamps whenever possible. They hold a charge better and longer and I don't have to replace or carry additional batteries. Great product! I have purchased several more for my other grown children along with other various products from Lone Survivalist and have experience excellent customer support when needed. Great company with innovative ideas and great vision in designs of their products. Keep 'em coming!

Great light, last a long time on charge. I have four and use them for hunting and work.

Tri beam headlamp is wonderful. I use it when we have power outages. My older son uses it when he works on my vehicle‘s for me. I will be getting another one in the future probably three. Want to hang in the kitchen for emergency power outage, one for my oldest son, and one for my grandson, so my family will have four of them. I’ve been setting up my grandson who is now 17 with items for survival and so he can go camping. Once again, this is a wonderful product and I stand 100% behind it.

I use the Tri-beam Headlight all the time now when fishing at night. I've tried many others over the last couple years. The Tri-beam last way longer, doesn't need to be charged all the time and adjust easily to keep a fighting fish in the light at all times! Especially, when netting big fish in the dark! Also great for tying on hooks and making any adjustments to the line and baits when it's pitch black out!

I own a silver mine. This is the best headset I have ever used. It lights up the mine tunnels better and lasts longer then any other product, and I have tried all of the others some are very expensive and they do not come close in performance and price.

Over all good light. Two problems I've had with it. 1, the adjustment dial for the center light does not work as liked. 2. Seems battery life has gotten short, needing to be charged more often and not lasting as long

Excellent light provided with an increase in intensity if needed. Does have strobe also but have not needed to use it, thanks goodness. I like the rechargeable feature as I have never been in the dark. Unit recharges well and always ready to use, doesn’t drain down just waiting for the next opportunity. Excellent, Exxellent, Excellent.

This head lamp is very bright and easy to use. I have several other head lamps and they not as good as this head lamp. I use it when fishing and doing things around the house. This head lamp is fantastic.

So.... I bought a few headlamps at the same time each about same price 79$ this headlamp is superior to it's competition hands down!! Recommend highly to anyone looking for the best at a reasonable price, is it a little bulky yes but far greater than anything else in power and reliability.

This is the brightest headlamp I've ever used or even seen. This is my go to light for outside work at night. In Arizona you don't mow the grass in the middle of the day. My wife told me to start early, but that just means it's getting hotter as you go. No, I prefer to do it late in the day and with the Tri-beam Headlamp I can even do it at night. This Headlamp is so bright that I can mow my grass after dark and not miss any part of the yard. Also, we like to travel with our 5th Wheel and if we get to a camp after dark, no sweat, we can wear the Tri-beam Headlamp and set up a easily as during the day. Plenty of light. It's great for any job or activities where you need both hands free, like working on my motorcycle,car,home appliances or for your hobbies like fishing or hunting.

It is the brightest light I own. It brings the distant figures up close when I shine it on them. The deer are held in place because of it being so bright. I have two other headlights but they don't measure up to your's, Lou.

There’s a lot of headlamps out there to choose from. After comparing and reading info about numerous headlamps I chose this one. Besides being extremely bright, it’s very lightweight. Compared to some at a popular, large online company, it may cost a little more but with all the many different features it has and how bright it shines - well you get what you pay for. It’s definitely worth every penny. A lot of thought went into making it and I appreciate that. I forgot to mention I think you could really blind someone, say an attacker, with it. The strobe light feature could be a self defense weapon if needed. It’s that bright! I have several of their flashlights and they have the same feature. If you purchase this headlamp you won’t be disappointed.

As a farmer most of are brake downs happen in the dark! It came in handy when the lights went out. We were in the dark for a few hour and without the headlight it would been really bad. I also carry one in the car and it has come in very hand at night when an emergency strikes.

I love this powerful head lamp especially when the electric goes out. I've set it in the center of the room with the beam shooting upwards and it brightens the entire room like a lamp! I've worn it to replace the kitchen sink faucet hoses in the dark cupboard below and I can see everything without a problem! I recommend this headlamp for outdoors too!

When you need your hands free and you need light this is the perfect combination! There was something in my backyard at night and I took my baseball bat in hand because I thought it was a rat or small animal and I had my gun holstered incase it was a predator! As it turned out it was a rat and it ran away but I could see clearly with my headlamp!!! Thank God!!!

Going hunting in the dark is like walking in daylight. I am disabled and I really have to see where I am stepping in order not to fall. This light was also used to paint the woodwork in a not so bright room and it worked like a champ.

I used the headlamp for work, I need both hand to do my job and the lamp worked great. I'm retired now and live in an area that has a lot of brown outs and black outs and the head lamp comes in handy not having to hold a flashlight.

The Tri-Beam really is very well built (better than I expected by far) and has become a great asset to my nighttime outdoor activity because the quality and choice of light—from low to high to strobe—provides me with easy-touch options while leaving my hands free to work, even if “work” is as little as walking the dog and navigating the skunks, coyotes and raccoons that might otherwise go unseen without the light. I’ve had other head-worn lights but they didn’t project light anywhere near as far and clear as this one. I’ve had it for a few years and use it daily/nightly. If it ever dies on me I’ll get another!

This is a really good headlamp. Since the batteries are rechargeable it is even better than trying to find batteries when you have to. I use it mostly in the winter for snowshoeing.

Really enjoying the headlamp. In fact just used it yesterday lol. Had a leak underneath the house and the headlamp beams made it so much easier to unfortunately find the leak. It’s been my go to for everything we do in the dark. From changing a flat to barbecuing in the backyard. Got kinda creeped out while camping with it. Looked up the mountain side and seen maybe twenty sets of glowing eyes looking at us. Turned out to be a heard of elk lol, thanks so much for the great head lamp!

Only problem I had with mine is that I didn't know when it was fully charged because the charging light doesn't cut off to let you know it's charged.

Although I have recently had my headlamp stolen, I loved this light! It is very bright, comfortable to wear with or without a hat, durable, and the charge lasts long enough for my trips. I didn't realize the battery pack also has a red light in it so there is visual from the back. I have used it during my overnight kayaking / camping trips, hunting, in the rain and snow. The very frigid cold does affect the battery life, so on those occasions, I keep it close to me when not using it. The on/off switch is easy to use and big enough for gloved hands to operate.

I've tried other head lamps before, and they all seemed good, but the Tri-Beam Headlamp is the brightest, lamp that I've used. Comes in handy when working on vehicles and you don't have hands to hold a light, great when needing light while outside camping, also works great when cleaning fish into the evening after a long day of fishing. The Brightest and best I've used. I would easily recommend this to anyone that needs a head lamp!!!

I actually have purchased multiple headlamps in the past. These make great gifts! I also use them at work to see in dimmly lit areas. It has lit up my hiking paths so I see a trip hazard before I get there. I also use this while riding my mountain bike at night to light my path. Great product and great price. I live in the country and I use it when bringing firewood in at night or dumping garbage. It helps me keep from walking up on a bear or God forbid, a skunk, and keeps my hands free. An excellent product!

It is my go to tool for when I need both hands to work with and some light to help me. I just point it where I am looking at and if I need more light. I just click 2 more times and get a ton of lumens! So if you have a job that requires light and both hands, this is the one for you! I just wish the battery lasted longer and the cord for recharging was about 12 to 18 inches.

is a great flashlight when you need both of your hands to do other stuff. the only thing i would change is put a mode selector switch instead of going through them by pushing the power button. might add colored filters so you can use with out smashing your night vision
