This is a very neat little knife which came wicked sharp right out of the packaging. In the picture, you can see that I sliced a corner off of a piece of paper in one very clean cut. I really like how it came sharp right out of the box. Unfortunately, my ferro rod arrived detached from its handle, however a drop of glue or epoxy will easily correct this issue. I'm convinced that this COULD be used for self defense if needed, however it would be somewhat uncomfortable given the shape of the handle and belt hook. This is primarily a tool, not a weapon. Ultimately, this is a very cool knife that any collector will be pleased with and is worth having.

I have several products, the orange premier Edge knife is awesome, light weight, sharp, and love that it has fire starting capabilities all built in. About the only thing that would make this better is a clip on the side for pocket. Great product!!!
